Hany Shenouda Reimagines Bahlam Ma’ak With Ziad Zaza and Rising Singer Tina

 

In a surprise musical collaboration, renowned composer Hany Shenouda has released his latest single, Bahlam Ma’ak (I Dream With You), offering a fresh new interpretation that brings together Ziad Zaza and Tina, one of the promising new talents he recently discovered and is introducing to audiences.

 

The track is presented as a duet through a modern reimagining of Bahlam Ma’ak, a song originally performed by legendary Egyptian singer Nagat El Saghira. It features lyrics by the late poet Abdel Rahim Mansour, with music and the original arrangement by Hany Shenouda. The new version is now available on YouTube, all major music streaming platforms, and radio stations.

 

Shenouda described the release as a musical experiment that blends his signature sound with contemporary rap influences. He said he chose Tina for her exceptional promise as a vocalist, while selecting Ziad Zaza for his distinctive style and strong appeal among younger audiences.

 

He also noted that the new arrangement was designed to give the classic song a modern sound that resonates with today’s generation while preserving the spirit of the original.
